Bring a Candle and show your support for Burma’s Cyclone Nargis Victims

Burma Campaign Sydney is hosting a candle light vigil to a mark the one year anniversary of Cyclone Nargis which devastated Burma killing 140,000 and severely affecting 2.4 million.

Thousands of cyclone survivors are struggling every day to have their basic needs, such as food, clean drinking water and shelter met. This is occurring despite the outpour of aid and support from the international community and local communities in Burma.

Bring a candle and please join us at the vigil and light a candle for those who died in Cyclone Nargis and to remember the struggle that cyclone survivors are facing every day.
