Join APHEDA and experience first-hand the work of Australian unions in Timor-Leste. Union Aid Abroad & Timor-Leste(The Timorese name for 'East Timor')Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA has been working actively on the ground in Timor-Leste since 1998. We maintain an office in Dili staffed by Timorese personnel. Travelling with Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA and being part of the study tour is a unique opportunity to talk to the local people about their experiences of the reconstruction process, about their hopes and aspirations for their new nation, to learn about international aid and development and also about the work of Australian unions through Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA. You will have the opportunity to visit the many projects that Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA assists in partnership with local communities. Check out what last year's participants have to say.
