Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA is horrified by recent events in Israel and Palestine. All governments must urgently employ all diplomatic means to de-escalate the violence and initiate urgent peace talks. There must be a ceasefire and humanitarian aid must be allowed into Palestine.

In Palestine, small-hold farmers are overcoming barriers to selling their produce on the market. Farming communities in Gaza and the West Bank are improving land-care techniques to boost their yields.
APHEDA works with local organisations in Palestine to support small-scale farmers, increase household incomes and establishing sustainable cooperative businesses.
