Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA is about people – people working together to make things better for all. As the global justice organisation of the Australian union movement, each and every APHEDA supporter, member, partner, activist and participant here in Australia and all around the world contributes to the work it takes to tackle inequality and injustice.

Jacqueline King is the General Secretary of the Queensland Council of Unions. She has been a member of Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA for 11 years.
Dr Olfat Mahmoud died at home on 24 September. She was a leading, and much-loved, advocate for the rights of Palestinians, women, refugees, children, and people with disabilities.
Carolyn Dunbar is the Women’s Team lead at Victorian Trades Hall Council. She has been a member of Union Aid Abroad for five years.
Leslie Marsden is a Member Services Support Officer and Sharny Chalmers is an Industrial Officer at the Public Service Association of NSW. They are also long-term members of Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA.
Madeline Feledy is an organiser with the Australian Services Union NSW &ACT branch. She has been a member of Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA for three years.
Thirza White is the General Secretary of the CPSU Tasmania. She has been a member of Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA for 11 years.
Luke Martin is the Secretary of Bendigo Trades Hall Council and has been a member of Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA for 3 years.
Luke Whitington is the Executive officer of the SEARCH Foundation and has been a member of Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA for 19 years.
