Since 2017, Union Aid Abroad APHEDA has been conducting a project to improve the status of women in Vietnam and strengthen women’s rights to equality through increasing the representation of women in politics. This project has been implemented in three provinces of Haiduong, Phuyen and Bac Kan.

Lighting up the rural Vietnam with green energy

In Vietnam’s rural northeast, Vang Kheo, a hamlet of 24 Dao households, has undergone a transformative change. Now illuminated with road lighting and equipped with solar power banks in every home, this isolated village serves as a model for sustainable development, particularly for other rural communities that lack connections to the national electricity grid.
