COVID-19 UPDATE: Dear great friends and supporters of Mae Tao Clinic. Since June 28th 2021, Mae Tao Clinic has been operating as an official field hospital for the Mae Sot public health system has been providing care for between 60-70 infected individuals deemed low risk for developing complications or severe disease.
Our community has been overwhelmed by the current outbreak which poses continuous challenges. Nevertheless, we are vigilant and will continue advocating for equitable access to health, education and protection for migrant and displaced populations in need along the border.

Mae Tao Clinic has been providing health care, education and protection to the displaced and vulnerable people of Burma/Myanmar since 1989. For many conflict and poverty affected people along the Thailand-Burma border, Mae Tao Clinic is the only option to access health care, especially because services are free of charge.
