To make a tax deductible donation via APHEDA – Union Aid Abroad, call 1800888674 or DONATE ONLINE by going to “Make a Donation” and specify Nepal Earthquake Appeal under C “one off donations and appeals”. AWSA will arrange with APHEDA to send the money to the Sahrawi Red Crescent.

MEDIA RELEASE: Appeal to assist flood relief efforts in Sahrawi refugee camps 

Months after the deadly April 25 earthquake, workers, families and communities are living in makeshift shelters, often with limited access to toilets or fresh water.

One third of the Nepali labour force has been impacted in a country with poverty levels already among the highest in the world.

Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA is working with partner organisations General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) and Union Network Nepal Liaison Council (UNI NLC).
