Union aid Abroad-APHEDA annual raffle is now open. The raffle is also a great opportunity for supporters to get involved and show your solidarity with workers around the world. By buying a raffle ticket, you can contribute to a better world for all, while also having the chance to win some fantastic prizes.
Tickets are $5 each and the raffle will be drawn on May 8, 2023.
Have a look at these amazing prizes
First prize: A $4800 electric bike from Omafiets. The Specialized Turbo 3.0 e-bike makes cycling easy and stylish. This high-quality bike is excellent for getting around town, shopping for groceries, or commuting.
Second prize: A $1500 Good Food restaurant voucher. Dine at some of Australia’s top-hatted restaurants. With hundreds of participating restaurants, you’ll find a delicious night out in regional and urban centres right across Australia.
Third prize: A $500 book voucher from Gleebooks, one of Sydney’s best-loved independent bookshops. Valid for 3 years, this voucher will give you plenty of time to restock your library with the best new releases and old classics. Fourth prize: $100 worth of union merch from WeAreUnion.org.au
Promote the raffle and win
This year we’ve added extra prizes for people who help us promote the raffle by selling tickets to their workmates and friends.
Everyone who sells 10 or more tickets will go in the draw for a $500 Good Food voucher and $100 worth of union merch from weareunion.org.au
We do this because Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA’s Solidarity Raffle is not just about the chance to share in thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes. It’s also a way to talk to your friends, family and colleagues about the importance of international solidarity.
Every time you sell a ticket, you have a conversation. Like every part of the union movement, we rely on our supporters and activists telling others about what we can achieve together.
You can help us spread the word about our raffle by:
Putting up a poster in your workplace,
Taking some flyers to an International Women’s Day event or May Day rally
Organising a morning (solidari)tea for you and your co-workers and inviting an APHEDA organiser to share the work of our project partner organisations.
