In May 2021, women candidates from Bac Kan, Phu Yen and Hai Duong provinces will run for election to the National Assembly and local legislative bodies at the provincial, district and commune levels.
Since trade unions were legalised in Myanmar, Action Labor Rights (ALR) has been working to create a safe space for the emerging trade union movement.
APHEDA works with Women’s Unions in Bac Kan, Phu Yen and Hai Duong provinces to promote gender equality in political decision making.
