The Samoa Workers Congress (SWC) has taken an important step toward strengthening the voice of working people by bringing together its Executive Committee to develop a plan to build a stronger, more representative trade union movement.

In 2015, a small group of determined organisers founded Samoa First Union (SFU), the country’s first private sector union. Ten years later, SFU has become a vital force for change, delivering fairer pay, stronger rights, and hope to thousands of Samoan workers at home and abroad.
